Look at this pic carefully and guess what is that  tiny looking pale blue dot ?

What is this picture about ? 
No guess, well let me give you some hint,
all your memories, your failures, successes,anger, your heartbreaks, your first love, your laughs,all your knowledge about 
human civilization and other things ,infact  all your ( and our ) life reside only in this tiny blue dot.

Still not getting it, well this our home ,this is the earth, the planet where we live.




In 1977  a spacecraft build by NASA (called Voyager one) was launched in space, it was on a mission and during return of this spacecraft , an astronomer named 'Carl Sagan'  asked the mission control room  to turn on one of the cameras to take a picture of earth from 6 billion kilometers from earth and then we get this picture.To know more about this you can click the link below

                                     Now take a deep breath and close your eyes and imagine 'how big the world can be' . Can you Imagine , surely it is bigger than your imagination,   and this is how the world looks from space. There are millions of galaxies ( or even more ) in this universe ,in every galaxies there are millions of stars and planetary systems, and in one of those galaxies there is a star (The Sun ) around that star revolving some planets ,in one of those planets there are continents, ,those continents have countries,countries have states ,states have districts  also those districts have areas , and in one of those areas we  live.

                                                                                 If our world looks that tiny , then what are you (we all) to this universe 

        Do your problems,your fears, your success, your frustrations ,your complains,your rejections   even matter to this universe?
          At the end of the day you are toooooooo  tiny to this universe.

 You have got 70 or 80 years (on average)  to live on this earth. Out of which you probably already live some years and last 10 or 15 years you will not be physically that much fit to to try new things,
So you get few years or few moments to  live the life you want.

So why to have anger, greed, ego  when these has no meaning at all,   sometimes for temporary basis they may be  O.K (as we are emotional creature ) but never in the long run.

So, take control of your life , kick out that fear which holds you back , destroy your ego and be humble ( irrespective of what other's think)  ,have adventures, explore your life as much as you can.

Enjoy your time before you leave this earth
           '  Ultimately it's your life , what matters most is your joy ,your satisfaction.  '

      

    So look at the sky and always remember the     ' PALE BLUE DOT '.

It"s OK to fail.

One may think ,why i am suddenly interested about failing ,well no one likes to fail (i am too).
Of course we feel  low when we  fail , but wait a minute and think does not all the succesful  people you know failed in their life   ( not once but may be several times).


Then why we become soo worried and behave as if we have commit some crime (as if our life is gone) ,and take wrong decisions .

On the other hand it is also true that in India , no school ,college,university teaches us
how to handle failure and go ahead in life.
Probably that is why , India is one of those countries where number of youth committing  suicide per year is enormous.
Students commiting suicide at educational Institutions is very common in our country
Just think about it, a teenager , ends his/her  life just because he fails , does not know  life is bigger than his /her problems.

Why can"t we take failure as normal part of our life and learn from it.
If the greatest people on earth can fail ,why not we.

In a way  if you think, failing is a sign that we are trying to learn (or to know) something .
If you never wish to learn you will never fail.
Yeah ,i know some people will say after putting so much hard work if we fail ,it is difficult to accept,
but then who said you have achieved nothing , think carefully during the process you have learned so much things , and next time you are going to do this,  you know what not to do.

So next time if you fail , think you are trying seriously, just need to push yourself  littlebit harder
and learn from your mistake. Always remember steve jobs connect your dot speech. May be your mistake is a dot which you can only connect after few years.

              Don't have a fixed Mindset ,have a growth mindset.

We all are on the same page when we born, as we grow  up what makes us different is our attitude towards life,  people who are mature enough to handle failure in the right way are the succesful one in this  school of life.
                 

Are you replacing Love with Technology ?

Have you ever think (or read ) how homosapiens (us )  come to this world and struggled for their existence. Wherever  and whatever we are today because of our ancestors.

If they didn't fight for their existence ,we would not be here today. So how they managed to fight against the all odd conditions then,   one can read few books of  for the detailed answer, but in short (to me)  they win ahainst all odd conditions because they were united.
  The somehow knew ,if they want to exist they have to connect with each other ,understand each other ,which they had done successfully.

Then as we all know comes the era when, to make human life easy and  smoother  science give us gadgets ,which changes everything ,we proved again we are the most creative and intelligent creature.
And we are now in the era when we can connect in seconds with anyone in the world through social networking sites. Everything looks really great  but wait are we missing something ,which our ancestors showed us?

Are we really connecting with one another or trying to replace conversations with connections.
Today when you look at your surroundings, the picture is really alarming . Most people are not at all interested in knowing each other but busy in their gadgets , more ridiculously sometimes in spite of being with each other they are busy in texting  someone else or each other.
In spite of having thousand friends in facebook or followers on twitter or instagram we feel very lonely. I feel somehow ,we are forgetting, the value of relationships in a human life is much more worth than our expensive gadgets.
AND the technology is evolving so quickly that most of us are barely aware of how our behavior is changing.
Just like nuclear power ,gadgets can make us very productive and smart  or it can destroy us (by destroying the connectivity among us) .

So it's high time we prioritize things in our life, and good news is people becoming aware of these things. Some of the recent articles on 'IS FACEBOOK MAKING US LONELY' ,  and one by a MIT  Prof.  'THE FLIGHT FROM CONVERSATION' are getting great response and more and more people should read these.

So believe me our ancestors were not fool (otherwise we would not been here), they showed us ,for the betterment of humanity we must unite and know each other.
Technology is great in it's own place ,we can't imagine our life without it,   but it cannot be a replacement of LOVE. Still not convinsed,  please  watch the below video

  Everyone in their childhood must have heard this lines from their parents (specially in India) ,      
'Don't get too close to him/ her, he will ruin you' and most of the time we did not paid attention to this.

Well, their words might irriatate us then but they are not completely wrong. This I can say now with confidence because it is now a proven fact in  Science.

Have you ever think   ' why  do you think, the way you think'. And If you think  it is because of your character,
then what shapes your character ?
Anyone  knows that ,if he/she were born in other country or other place , he/she would have been different.  So what determines our character, well lot of things but one of the major thing is the environment,where we reside. And what makes the environment , people with whom we are associated. So the key point is   your character does not only depend on you but the people with whom you are closely associated.

Jim Rohn (an American Author,enterpreneaur) described it beautifully  'YOU ARE AVERAGE OF THE FIVE PEOPLE, YOU MOST CLOSELY ASSCIATED WITH'

You cannot choose where you born or in which family you born but you can  choose your friends
,who in turn shapes your personality. It is a common observation that succesful people don't spend their time with negative people, who sucks a person's willpower,hope,determination,patience  which are charactersticks of a succesful person.
In the other way a positive person can fill you with hope, you feel so good with that person and life seems beautiful.
So anybody (with commonsense) want to spend more time with a positive person.

But how do you know wheather a person is positive or negative, observe the person, observe his/her speeches,his actions, his thinkings and how realistic are they.
If you feel good and energetic after having conversation (or few conversations) with him/her and not only speeches but his/her actions itself show his positive personality   then most probably he/she is a optimistic person.
And a negative person just the opposite, they are like slow poison, you may not realise how they affects your life but they  prevent you from living a life ,you always wanted to live.

So it is upto you ,in which way you want to lead your life. sharpen your senses and observe people bit closely and choose the correct people in your life.
It may not seem a very important thing but in the long run it is very important because

God's Most Beautiful Creation.

                          What  do you think is the most beautiful creation in the World by Nature (or God).     Is it  7 Wonders of world    Or  some other places.  Well,  to me the most beautiful creation is with everyone , yeah you guess it right it"s  MOTHER , whom we call   MAA . in India (in most of the places).

There is magic in the word Maa,  not only for those who knows the meaning but for those also who doesn"t know the meaning.  You need minimum effort to pronounce this word and anyone in the world can easily pronounce it, it can soothe your mind (try it whenever you are stressed), probably because  they are the simplest persons in the whole world.

Have you ever heard of a bad mother ?, I mean you can heard about a  bad wife , bad sister, bad aunty (or any other form of a women) but a mother cannot be bad , irrespective of everything he loves her son /daughter.

If anyone ask you "What is LOVE", you can give answer in probably thousand ways, but what could be the shortest answer,   I think  it"s ' Mother'  , I  mean  Who can be the better example of  LOVE  than Mother, Who gives her whole life selfless service to other"s and does not expect anything in return.
I sometimes ponder what happen to us as we grow older, remember those childhood days when we showed our love toward's our mother,   as time passes mother's love for her child remains same ,it's not that child's love for mother reduces with time but somehow I feel we forget to express that love.
We think  we have grown up ,get busy in life, but if we try to see from a Mother's point of view (I know it is not easy to see Mother's point of view )  you are and you will always be a child to your mother.
Show your maturity to  the world, but when it comes to your mother ,be a child (that somewhere hides inside you) ,express your love.

Many of us are often
far away from our home (for various reasons), so manytimes it happens that my mother  calls me many times a week (sometimes few times a day),  there was a time when I felt irriatated due to so many calls ,  then I realized that  may be for me it is just a talk with my mom, but for her it is much more than this, one phone call brings smile on her face for the whole day,fills her with hope.

Anybody can write an entire book on her mother, everyone knows her/his life would not have been possible without his/her mother. The point is not only to praise her but to be with her when she needs us most and make her realise that we are the same  'that child' who loves them most in the world.

 Next time when your mother call you (or you are with your mother)  express your love ( say I LOVE YOU) , and I promise i will also do.

So, you don't need to travel the whole world too see most amazing creation by nature, it is with you, don't ever loose this gift.

Are you a Global Citizen ?

One  may think by looking at the name of the post , do i need  to have citizenship of multiple countries ?

Well you do not (it"s great if you have).

Do you call a person Global Citizen if only he has multiple citizenship ?

well I don"t think, It is more an idea than to have any documental proof.. 

I think it is not a new Idea, if you read ancient history, great people like  Hiuen-Tsang, Fa-hien, Marco polo,Columbus travelled the world  and gain knowledge.

In 21st century the concept of Global Citizenship becomes more important ,and it"s much easier also  you don"t need travel the whole world to become one, you can know about the whole world sitting at your home. You need just recognize yourself as a Global Citizenship and become a responsible one.

So why you need to be a Global Citizenship?

With science and technological advancement the World is never so connected like this generation  (surely it will increase).

So, things happen in a country not only effect"s it's own people but other people also.

For example if pollution level of one country increases, it"s not going to affect that country but it"s neighbouring countries also, similarly there are so many things.

And there are things we need more collaborations across the globe to have a better World like Science,, Arts,etc.

So it"s high time that not only government collaborations but we need people"s collaborations.

So, don"t limit yourself to just your community or place ( of course, it"s your root ,never forget this)

but explore yourself to other  places, cultures.In that way you can increase your knowledge also (that"s what ancient traveller"s did to gain knowledge).

So, know your origin , but try to know other"s also.Don"t wait for the day may be when alliens will threat humankind, then all humans have to unite for survival (just kidding)

By the way I have a dream actually , to have friends across the Globe , so that I can know the world in a better way (hopefully you to).

So, travel whenever you get chance , make friends from different countries, Read about the world .

You belong to this world  , don"t limit yourself to just your place

This world is our Home, so let us unite together and say  " WE ARE ONE".
